Mid-Year Recital 2026
The Mid-Year Recital marked the close of the first half of 2026, and offered a chance to hear how far our students have come this term.
For several students, this was a first public performance. Each program reflected months of preparation, and the results showed in the focus and confidence students brought to the stage. We were glad to welcome a number of new families to the studio this year.
For our senior students, many of whom had solo competitions coming up, the recital gave them a chance to run their programs in front of an audience before performing under competition conditions. The Swiss Watchmakers, one of two studio ensembles competing in the Chamber Music regional final the following week, performed their program at the recital to a warm response from parents and students alike. Triple Shot, our other ensemble heading to the regional final, had a separate concert engagement during the week.
